Like I said box is 6 sheets of mdf, plus the rounded pieces I ordered for it that was 40lbs sipping weight iirc

sheet of mdf is 80-90 lbs depending on brand, and very minimal scrap (Mostly the 12 speaker cutout holes).

Google MDF Corners there are a bunch of suppliers, direct to the source is anderson internatonal trading inc out of Cali.

Tho going direct they dont like to always cut them in half for shipping, so you pay additional handling charges, however other resellers of the product will give you the option to cut a 8foot piece in half, even tho it comes from the same direct source. My guess is they dont like dealing with small orders like me that buys as I need usually.

I only started using them due to a previous employer and builder said that it is his EXCLUSIVE pieces that NO ONE ELSE HAS OR CAN GET!

So Ive built a few boxes now with them and half the cost of his.

Plus its a lot quicker then kerfing (and yes I can kerf like a boss)

Just another box I built using them.

Anyways since replies, Ill post more pics.

Box finishing I guess will do.

First time spraying clear, mixed resullts. Some spots came out great, other spots not as great and have some hazing.

Granted Im using a cheap HLPV gun that was $50 for a big gun and a smaller gun, I have no idea what type nozel I should be using, and I also spray glue for carpeting boxes, paint, and now clear from it. Of coarse I clean the gun out thhrurallly before each material I use. I also read mixed reviews on the brand clear.

That enclosure..faintthud.gif.pagespeed.ce.5MR6K26Kw0.gi And not sure if you tinted the windows from the outside or inside?

Windows are tinted on the inside..

You use the outside of the window to cut and trim into shape, and shrink tint on needed curved windows, once trimming is done you move the tint to the inside of the glass and apply.

See this is the problem with things around here. A bad ass installer doing bad ass installs, and no love to keep interest! I feel you man!

I'd love to see more my friend! Nice work! The box is sick, and something about it just slathered in resin makes me think of an oiled up..............................mmmmmmmm wait, not 18+ section, sorry I'll keep it G rated! LMAO.

Do work my man! I can't wait to see more!

Thanks! someone sees things from my side.

I usuallly dont post build logs until the build is finished or damn near finished, so when I start posting I can post them all at once or hold out for more people to get tuned in, which is what I do. LOL

Im just an average installer tho, Just pay a lot of attention to detail usually :D

You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people.

I was gifted with an innate ability to distribute wholesale ass beatings in a timely and orderly fashion.
