I have a 4 ohm DVC Cadence s2 12" subwoofer, I had it wired at 2 ohms to my cadence mono block and put a pioneer 4 ohm svc subwoofer in the other side of the box and wired it to the second set of terminals on my mono block amp and it played for a minute and amp went into protect, I took the wires for the pioneer off the amp and now whenever bass hits the protect light blinks but the amp won't power on

So your amp has 2 ++ and 2 -- speaker terninals right? If so one set was at 2 ohms and the other at 4 ohms and since most amps internally bridge your final load would be something that your amp might not be able to handle

Ideally you wouldn't want to wire 2 different subs together, especially in the same box with different voice coil configurations. As for whether or not that's what caused your amp to go into protect, that's a different story...

So you have your amp wired with a 2 ohm load and a 4 ohm load. Since it is a mono block it sees them as 1 sub no matter how many you have hooked up it just sees the ohm load. So with out knowing better you could have dropped the impedance below the minimum rated impedance of your amp and possibly could have made it go bye bye.

I would just hook up the cadence sub at 2ohms and see how it reacts to the sub.

Also check all your connections to the amp for any lose ones

I disconnected both subs and amp still won't power on, it powered on when I started my car this morning and was pushing the Cadence for a few seconds (sounded shitty) and stopped powering up again

Have you checked your power/ground/remote wires?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .
