Beanz
Well also think about the electrical upgrades your gonna need for 5k watts also. If you really want that 5k amp then save more money and wait I know it sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. TeamHT
If you're going to upgrade anyways then just buy two D2s and wire to a 2 ohm load. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
_paralyzed_
Anything over 1000 rms will need major electrical upgrades to run. You gotta consider that when calculating how much you want to spend. You can maybe get by with just extra batteries on the 3.5k, but the 5k should really have a bigger alternator and even more batteries. You can't just throw in an amp and subs. deadbroke
And here I didn't think you could turn the amp down I thought you had to match the gains to the pre amp output level
TeamHT
Its easy. Wire to a 2 ohm or 4 ohm nominal load. Done and done, then use the 5k when you upgrade Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
