Robotics Competition

Krakin

Recommended Posts

Going back in to the robotics competition for our school this year. The game we are designing and programming for is quite more intense than last. Looking forward to it all!

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

Very interesting ...

Me and my son built a battle bot just for fun ... HA, Ha !!! Destroyed tons of shit with it ...

... But never could afford to go to any of the big battlebot competitions ...

Battle bots would be fun!

I am dreading how tedious the coding will be on this, since I am sure I will end up being the guy going to that...

But then I will want to build to the code and code to the build so I'll probably be running back and forth between the two...

that looks pretty cool

I wonder if theres actually any vvideo of gameplay, guess i should search that.. haha

There might be a few, but as far as I know this is a new game mode I guess... I think I saw a few videos of gameplay.

The main challenge will be the autonomous period. I have only done that once before... Had to make a robot that picked up a bag of donuts, went to the other side of the science department, dropped them off at another teacher's desk, and came back to the original starting position avoiding people/desks/chairs/ect...
