Tribe Called Bass Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 I believe this should come down to your own personal preference, if you are shit out of luck on space and loaded up with fix-a-flat and have nice tires(Shitty ones risk blowout, so fix-a-flat is worthless) then do it. I cut out my tire holder as well, I'm working on A battery bank. As for the amp, you should know if it gets hot or not. If it does, then well, get some fans!

Personally I would add a fan no matter what though. Kenyel Dotts Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 If this amp is properly grounded and is given the power it needs it should not get that hot with a clean signal source and the proper enclosure (woofers). I have some thinking to do i'm not out of space. Well if you have space, I'd keep it away from the well, because idk about your car, but mine has vent holes on the bottom, so it gets pretty humid.
