My local shop over here sells those quantum amps. Personally, I think they're garbage. They sound like crap, and put out a nasty signal. I would just spend a little more and be happier with something else in the long run. Current setup in my 96 Hoe Hu - Pioneer DEH-80prs. Amps - (4) Crossfire C5 1700D's, MTX Thunder 5604(mids), PPI Art 300.2 (tweets) Batts - 4 91ah rear batts, 50ah batt up front. I have a 1200rMS amp now and it just aint enough, so why trade one for another that is the same wattage. I wanna go bigger, thank you though. TRON Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 Your "1200 rms" amplifier might not be doing its rated power, you'd be surpirsed. Buying an amp that will actually do rated power, even if it's the same amount of power as what you currently have, will make a huge difference. 1200 is lots of power and the X's are not an SPL driver, so why you would want more unless your all about getting one more deceble? Side note: The Quantum QA4000d rated @ 4000w with 2x 60amp fuses....lolerskates.
