Wood Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Is there anyone here that has a Battery that is Larger then the stock battery in its location? If so... What all did you modify to get it to fit properly? To give you an idea of what I'm going for, I have a 2011 Altima and a d3100 battery that I'm wanting to fit in the stock location. All dimensions are good besides the length which is about 4" too long. I was going to run it as a secondary battery but thought it would be better to try and fit that 83lb battery under the hood to relieve some weight. I will only be running a RF T600-2 and a T2500 so that battery alone plus the Singer Alt i'm getting will be more then enough for that setup. Yes I have it sitting on my bedroom floor... RMac18 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Your best bet will be a trial and error to make it fit. Pull your stock battery and see if you can get it to fit. If not see what its touching or hooking on and determine if you can move it a bit, trim it or possibly relocate it. Anythings possible with enough work. Just depends what issues you have fitting it and how you decide to deal with them when they arise.
