The funny part is that's an immense amount of gear. Soundstream jsnt the same as you knew. Big letdown not nearly the same quality. Id honestly consider ditxhing a whole bunxh of that gear and run the twelces and rf amps and pick up a grest comp set for up front or maybe one for the doors and the kicks and go from there. That many speakers is goinf to be so obnoxious its hard to even imagine

Do you need something to see in order to believe this? go to a few shows. While vast majority will probably have bass and all, there will be some setups that have bass but also will have their mids and highs too.

Can look around the site and find out what exactly Steve has in it... but I can damn well promise you, ain't nothing near no 29 speakers. Think it's like 6 or something. (don't remember and too lazy to look for the build, but it is on here, somewhere) I personally haven't heard it in person and probably never will as live too far away, but ask those who have heard it if it's loud. If it's clear. if it's whatever question you can think of. He may not have the bass in it that you're looking for, but that's because he went the SQ route with it and has the Tahoe for bass. Just providing it as an example to show, don't need 29 speakers to be loud. To be clear. To be... whatever in the hell you'd want 29 speakers for.

Aside from that, where in the hell would you put 29 speakers? I'm trying to imagine this and seriously, only thing I can think of would be a wall. Essentially, like a car audio shop. Build a wall in car and place speakers. Because even if you redid the doors and all, YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT 29 SPEAKERS!!!

No one in this post has been hateful or whatnot, as we're legitimately telling you not to do whatever it is your planning. It will be bad and waste of money. Want your T1 subs? That's cool, fine. Want speakers? that's cool, fine. But don't do 29 speakers. It'll lower your cost as you're not buying 29 speakers, and also, that is beyond overkill. Considering your car, there's no need for it. If you were doing a demo vehicle, such as those vehicles that travel and have like 10 15's, 8 12's, ect? Alright, maybe. But, your car? No. Don't. If you want to spend the same amount of money, we can all recommend stuff that will get your price point up there, will sound incredible, and all.

You have done this in the past but as n8 said, things changed. Want that loud good sound? Get Audison, Hertz, and there's a few other names to list a few. And that price point thing? Hertz Mille (their highest line I believe) is ballpark of $1000-$1500 for a set of 6.5's. Not sure what the price point is of your 29 speakers are but SMD as a community can WITHOUT A DOUBT, give you a list of speakers, that will sound amazing and beat your price point of 29 speakers with way less speakers. Hell, I was talking to a coworker the other day and he was asking how much a system (mids and highs) would cost. I told him "As deep as your pockets go. Can be literally around $200. Can be around the price you paid for your car. It depends on you." and he thought I was kidding. No. As I say, the SMD community can make a list but can get 4 pos speakers for like $20 a set (so $40 total), pos amp and it won't cost much. But can get the expensive stuff, which then practically requires a processor and could easily spend over 3k within a blink of an eye.

Now back to the alt, that alt will be fine most likely, even if you decide to go with crazy 29 speakers. The T1's won't want a lot of power (If that's not a typo, and really is the 15001bdcp), that's beyond overkill. And I do mean beyond. I have T1's and they do pretty damn good on a 1500bdcp. (Was metered at a 138. Not bad considering all factors) So if you drop it down to a reasonable amount of speakers, that alt will be fine. It'll do the job and then some.

And lastly, if you want 29 speakers to be loud, like that's your purpose of having 29 speakers? To be loud? There's more efficient ways and more cost effective ways. I mean, I am not happy with my mids and highs. I want louder. Rather than adding another set (which also means custom fabrication on doors or whatnot), spent the money to just get better mids and highs. Around $1400. (includes xovers, amp, ect). Haven't installed yet so can't say if I'm happy with it or not. But, there's no real reason to do 29 speakers. Seriously. Unless a demo vehicle. And your car is way too small for that.

Wow guys easy huh , I'm never join any forums just for this reason , it's like people take things personal and the others gotta be all cool and know it all about it and treat people as if they are beneath them . At least 8 ball pleads his case and I appreciate the constructive criticism believe me but really " cluster fuck failure " and so on way to roll out the welcome Mat . I seriously hope nobody loses any sleep cause there is a possibility of a car bein put there w 29 speakers in it . I own new England's larger transmission shop and deal w people to the tune of 20 a day , if I were to treat them as dumb asses I prob would not carry the reputation that I do . Hell I am the foremost authority in my area of expertise and and I treat no one in this manner . If I did I would not be in the position that I am .no matter how much you know about a subject there is just no getting through to some people but you don't act as if you are holier then thou. I'm sure ill get bashed pretty good just for posting this but hey WTH . I obviously came to this site cause I believes the people here were knowledgeable and asked some questions . Wasnt tryn to show anybody up w my build or the amount of money I spent on it. If I came off the wrong way I'm sorry but there is no need to make some one feel as if they were 2 inches tall.

A fanatic as most of the people here. The more people you add to the mix the higher the demand becomes for more technology ect ect , keep these things in mind before you single a person out becuase and treat them in this manner .

All in all power is in numbers and numbers is why you have competitions , car shows , and increasing amount of product and technology .

Without numbers there is no demand , w no demand there market and everybody who thinks they know something about nothing can no longer get that false sence of well bein thinking they are above the rest.

Yea it was 12!and there were no other speaker in the car except a set of 6x9 in boxes on back seat so was just assuming it was the 12 jl12 w 6's

I honestly think Mustang you aren't listening to what they are saying. WastedTalent gave you a good explination and good reason why not to do 29 speakers and you completly ignored his good info just to bitch about genesis's dickheaded response.

If you want help, open your eyes and your mind. Your not being open to what others are telling you. And I agree with WastedTalent you dont need 29 speakers unless your trying to lose the other 40% of your hearing.

You can get just as loud ir louder on better equipment with less speakers and not be riding around having your car look like a ghetto messed up peice of.

Get you 3 good component sets and your 2 T1 subs and you will be set
