Karkov
I ran mine under the vehicle. Positives run along the driver side frame rail and pop up behind the rear wheel well again on drivers side. Ground (because i don't have separate charging systems and the vehicle has that ground sensor) runs along the passenger side of the vehicle again underneath but since it was black I zip tied it going through all the black brackets that hold the running board on. Still very hidden and all plus sturdy as hell since the running boards are plastic. Ground is Sky high 2/0 OFC gauge Positives are Qty. 2 - 1/0 OFC Fosgate Snaking the ground was easy, keep it away from the exhaust of course. Positives was a little bit of the pain when you get to where the rear suspension is, I wanted to keep mine hidden and most of all safe but that fuel tank gets in the way as well as suspension and body of vehicle all at the same place, but really not too bad. Just get under there and map out a place before you start pulling. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. graham0599
Like said before, keep the alt separated. If you have the extra wire, then I'd do the big 3 on the stock side too. As long as you do the big 3 on the HO alt then you'll be ok My 350z build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174424-2008-350z-build/page-2?hl=%2B350z+%2Bbuild#entry2605678

Chance_P
I have a question about installing a second "stand alone" alternator/charging system like this, if you dont mind the slight thread jack OP. Is there a benefit, or is it required, to run a ground wire from the front batt to the rear?
