Brandon Kirkwood Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 hello everyone im new to the whole do it yourself build.. im trying to build a box for my 300 with a port coming either through the back seat where the cup holder would be or up by the window... my have 2 12" kicker cvx's I just don't know where to begin. and don't really know the correct measurements that I would need to take. I would like to do it myself simply because its gonna cost 400$ for someone to build it... so any info would be great
Keith77 Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 Your best bet it do look a all the different builds and see what people are doing Here is a guy with the same car as you check him out as questions. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/148456-2008-chrysler-300-sql-build-challenger-style-hood-painted-and-some-things-under-the-hood/ Also posting this in the subwoofer/enclosure section would be better off. Ask a Mod if they can move this to that section Welcome to the forum Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
detroitdb Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 Probably do a fourth order with port coming through center armrest. I used to have one of these vehicles as they are a lot of fun to do things to, like having battery in trunk for easy addition of multiple batts. I did notice just sealing off a box (trunk wall) worked the best for me. Brandon Kirkwood Posted September 20, 2013 Author Report Posted September 20, 2013 I just thought coming through the arm rest it would have less rattle...ive seen it done before like that and liked it
inferno1985 Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 I just thought coming through the arm rest it would have less rattle...ive seen it done before like that and liked it the chargers have a hole cutout in the back deck for a factory 8 in sub n the srt models, comes with the cutout hole in the sxt's also your 300 might have that option also, a buddy of mine had a box built with port fireing through that 8 inch pre fabbed cutout for the factory sub and it sounded great

I don't think there prices are out of line. https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipP7rjav9cD9UFdAYBJmz4M4LoNlF26ng1xhAf4Uhttps://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipP7rjav9cD9UFdAYBJmz4M4LoNlF26ng1xhAf4U 2013 DODGE CHALLENGER R/T SUNDOWN ZV4-18 CRESCENDO 3.5K PIONEER AVIC 5300 NEX ALPINE TYPE R 6.5S & 6X9'S ROCKFORD FOSGATE 1.5" TWEETS 5 C&D TECH BATTS
