What is ur logic behind this? I'd say make the rear deck as open as possible to get as much air/pressure/bass into the cabin as possible and minimize trunk rattle. ..Unless you're a fan of the "aluminum cans in a bag" sound emenating from so many "scrapers' " trunks these days. And I hope for your sake that foam holds up. I woulda glassed the tire well.
