White Lightning
The looks are there !!! but the ride quality ??? Sorry to say ... Not so much LOTS of cutting and trimming is under way for clearance and such ... Suspension replacement parts being installed ... So on an so forth to make this a smooth ride ... It's not going to be one of those Air Ride vehicles that can do up, down, side to side, or any of those tricks ... I just want to sit VERY low at shows and events, ride low and have a smooth cruize, and still be able to use the vehicle as a normal everyday truck with benefits ... So ... With that being said, We are going to start out with the rear end of the truck by installing helper bags and all of the necessary equipment to make this work correctly ... So here is some of the parts I've collected so far ... And suggestions ??? I'm going to need All of the help I can get !!! ... And a VERY Special thanks for all of your help and support on this project to Mike Mastin and Hyper Lights !!! None of this would be possible without you brother !!! HyPer LEDs
Thanks, and I know for sure that I don't wanna lay frame. I've blown bags and lines before and it sucks, because it ends up stranding you right where it blows out. I also don't have the room in my truck to carry even a tool bag, so can't do a bag swap on the side of the road. I don't even know where I'm going to put my spare.....zero room, and it's the same as Randal's truck, except bigger enclosure SQL judges gonna HATE me Sponsored by: Kenwood Pioneer Linear Power YWS LoCrew Customs AirRide SMC Viair Series-tuned 6th on 4.8kw @8ohms. sprkn_ranger
Looks very nice man! I would suggest setting it up to lay frame from the get go. You are doing all that work to begin with, may as well do a little extra and get that bish laid out! Trust me, if you don't do it now, you will wish you would have after a couple months I would also suggest doing a 4 link for the rear as well. You will get a better ride and it will be stronger/safer than removing leafs and adding a bag. Anyway, I'm tuned the hell in! I'd like to trade in my bed cover for a snug top camper shell and build that wall with 16 10s (8 ISO-Kits) like I've always wanted ... but that stuff cost money that I do not have at this time ... Remember, I have a wife and kids ... I'm realy lucky to work with what I have now ...
