WastedTalent
DD W6.5 said you'd be cool with spending more for better. I HIGHLY recommend them. But, you'd be blowing your budget...no doubt. Lol. Sheena = pedobear
Krakin
Opps I clicked on the 2-way not the component set. All it says is that it comes with mounting hardware, doesn't specify an adapter. If they don't it can't be too hard to make your own out of mdf or something. And I would diffidently go with components over 6x9's Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. Isn't that just a woofer? I think the op needs a full set with crossover right? bassaddiction
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=299-609 Going to suggest one speaker? Unless you really care what the passengers in the back hear I still suggest one pair of components. And the Rockford power series have great reviews and are in your price range, for one set of components. meant to say 30 of them lol just a joking idk those might be good
