wiring question

Recommended Posts

Ok, so im almost ready for finals. I wanted to connect my subs to 0.5 ohm today, but came accross a little problem.

Ive got 2 dual 2 ohm subs, so I hooked them up to 0.5 ohm. When I wanted to connect them to the amp, I saw that my amp looks to have 2 cahnnels. [glow=red,2,300]I know its not two channels but it still has two +'s and two -'s[/glow]

How should I connect the subs?

It's made that way to wire it easier.

Your going to finals?

op..

do you have a bad coil? dual  2 ohm sub is 4 ohm or 1 ohm so you should have a .5 ohm or .6-.7 ohm on the meeter between the 2 subs, double check your coils , might have one gone bad

single dual 2 = 4 ohm or 1 ohm

2 dual 2 = 1ohm + 1ohm = .5ohm

add one more sub and take it down to .25 ohm only way i know how to drop it more

i might be wrong tho
