High Output alt from stock alt?

Are there any companies out there that will take a stock alt and remake it into a higher output? Im on a pretty limited budget, so Im just looking into options. Vehicle is a 99 Honda Civic with a D16Y8. Also, Im planning on runnng two SAZ-1500V3s, and a 4 channel, what would be the ideal alt and battery combo? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get everything sorted out. Thanks in advance.

Stock alts being upgraded is a tricky business. Most of the time you can only increase output a little bit, and depending on who does it, the alt may not be that durable.

Shop around for costs on all options. Most of the options I sell are in the 220A -$400-$550 range as an example

As for your electrical, to run 2) 1500W amps and a decent 4 channel around maybe 400W. You need to supply about 4800W.

So, a decent battery under the hood. maybe an XS Power D5100R. And a supplemental 2nd batter like an XS Power XP3000 will do ya nicely. Minus 1000W of juice for the engine and vehicle electronics, that leaves you with 5000W of supply to your audio system.

And that's 180 aH of battery. You should seek out an alternator of at least 180A and up from there.

For Hondas I only show 220A and up. But like I said, 180A is the minimum you should look at.

you can but only so much if its a 100amp alt they can probably get it to do 170 or so but your getting 2 1500 I would just get a 300amp alt or run dual alts
