truthsayer
Your box will determine a lot on the spl and Sq. How ever i believe if you contact RE audio on this. Their response will be, the sub was designed to be the best of both worlds. High SQ and able to reach extreme Spl numbers. While being a great daily ground pounder and being able to compete in Spl competitions on weekends. truthsayer
RobertR
Whats the price? Less then $1000 for subs, amp, wiring, and new aero box sealed off. CleanSierra
Most guys, as N8 will probably tell you, still tend to lean on the '05 and older versions of the XXX, as they were built with much better quality. They ARE am SQ oriented sub like others are saying as well. monster Xmax for great low end excursion. You don't want to overpower them though because they aren't built to take the abuse like an SPL sub are. I assume the soft parts will be the first to give up, the coil IS 4" and could likely take the abuse, but a suspension that is relatively softer will not. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra
Keep in mind they are going to need LOTS of port area to be happy, so make sure the box is well thought out as far as design and built. If the price makes you happy(seems good to me) I'd hop on it. You could easily sell the equipment and make your money back if you are displeased. Im not the one you want to try to troll.
