TeamHT Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 No, not great for an SPL setup. Price would definitely affect numbers because you're saying you're getting a good price but what's a good price? $1,000 for the glued in America stuff isn't what I'd call a great deal and for the same money would spend it differently for a SPL setup Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

CleanSierra Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Last Audio Comp here a guy did 148 with 2-12 inch xxx. What would the same guy have done with an SPL sub in a burp box tuned at resonant frequency? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
TeamHT Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Well I want to ask what vehicle, enclosure specs, firing, and how much power? I mean, we pulled 48.9 on two 15" BTLs walled in a mini mazda, not sealed off, on 1500 watts legal. There's a lot to consider when comparing scores. Member here did a 48 with two 12" DC level 6s....subs up inverted port back on like 5,000 rms (no clamp) in the cargo space of his trailblazer. That's an impressive number for how much space is to be pressurized so far back Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
RobertR Posted October 15, 2013 Author Report Posted October 15, 2013 honestly the price doesnt mean anything. Im chasing numbers not good deals. A bnib $500 XXX will sound the same as a bnib $5 XXX. TeamHT Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Price has everything to do with it or you wouldn't be talking about these mediocre spl subs used for a good deal. If money didn't matter you would get some real spl equipment...I don't get it...why try acting like a baller? Lol. And you prove my point, $5 XXX. If you're wanting a true SPL setup $1000 would get spent very differently if it were me. If you really want the equipment then get it. If you really want SPL I would go a different route. If you don't care about price don't tell people you could get them for a good price Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Most likely will be on the smaller side like around 1.75 per sub at 37 hz firing into the cab. walled and sealed off. re audio mt10k amp Picture something like this but sealed off. The price I pay doesnt make them louder or quieter. And if you could read you would see they are not used, they are new in box. A simple answer of "yes these will get loud" or "no they will not get loud" is all I need. BMW 325i Kenwood KVT-647DVD re xxx components re 6.5 FR's 2 RE XXX 12's 2 US amps MD3D's 2 batcap 4k's
