Facekicker
i'll add pics tomorrow but this is a good thread. I put a ton of equipment in my car and watched it sink about 5" since it was a trunk build and everything is over or past the rear axle. 2002 Monte Carlo SS Added overload coil springs to the rear, those weren't enough, added 2" poly bushing for a Jeep into the springs and I'm back to stock height. Unlike most you guys i wanted to bring it up and not slam it, didn't want to drag my exhaust around. 2002 Monte Carlo Started a build log Fi, DC, Mechman, XS Power

Facekicker
Coilovers at the time for my Monte were out of reach, I had hit the end of my budget. I admittedly didn't really want to make the investment, I did all my racing and crazy driving in a different car when i was younger. The current suspension setup will likely last me until I retire or sell the car. I am moving from a trunk build to a rear seat wall soon which should raise me up a touch in the back and balance things. My only fear is spitting out one of these poly spacers, but like I said this car doesn't get hot rodded and it's not an offroad car so I won't be twisting the suspension up. 2002 Monte Carlo Started a build log Fi, DC, Mechman, XS Power

Krakin
Such an amazing truck. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
