I think that it is a given that society had changed over the years, but even back in the 60's there were some political problems we have today, just in smaller scale and not wide spread. That's one of the bad things of all the technology we have to mass communicate: is that everything is shown to everyone everywhere, and with that wonderful human trait to exadurate a story as it is passed from one person to another. So Joe blow in India stubs his toe, and we hear in America how Joe murdered and raped his cousin or something crazy. ( yes yes there are tones of really bad shit that people are doing around the world, I am not saying everything is exadurated) We live in interesting times right now .. to be sure.
