hdorre
98.x% of the people here are gonna say Sky High.. I use Knu and Tsunami, and Im happy with both. The Tsunami I use is MUCH easier to work with.. Then again its the higher quality level stuff. Nick580
Do it right the first time and get OFC unless you want to do more than one run of CCA
BigGains
If going with knu would there cca line give me enough current flow to achieve 2k to 2500 watts? Or should I go with the ofc? 2003 silverado TEAM DC Pioneer Avh 5500 4 DC lvl 5 18s 12 crescendo pwx 6.5s 4 crescendo ft1 tweets 6xs d3400s Singer 400 alt Skyhigh ofc wires Skyhigh speaker wires Smd vm1 2 DC 175.4 DC 10k

Nick580
I used their CCA for a brz2400 and I felt it was a bit lacking and in retrospect I wish I would have spent a little more and gotten the OFC. And later down the road I replaced CCA with Knu OFC and the difference in wire is pretty noticeable. Plus if you are looking to build up later OFC will hold you down better. Just my experience. RMac18
Knu's cca is rated for 250amps and ofc is rated around ~300. If your amp draw is over 250 go for the ofc or 2 runs of cca. Long as your wire run(s) can support your amp draw you'll be fine as long as you have the electrical to back it up. Just figure out your amp draw and how many runs of each you plan to run and factor in cost of cca vs ofc and make your decision.
mothra
you're asking about best 0 gauge wire and you considering an aluminum conductor? if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
Nick580
I would rather pay a little more and be comfortable than to cheap out and have my electrical stressed
Krakin
CE auto electric's Tinned OFC. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
