420c Posted October 22, 2013 Report Posted October 22, 2013 No downside system wise but I think I read somewhere that you might loose horsepower (3-5), that could've been for multiple alts so don't quote me on that but I'm sure some of the vendors on here could better inform you. Don't under power that amp though or you'll end up smokin it.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
