Would i be ok if i was running it on stock electrical (2000 grandprix gtp), or should i add a extra batt and do big 3. an alt is out of budget right now. Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. oh.. wait.. naw.. that wasnt weird.. He probably tearin dat ass up every night. I'd say u would be ok on stock but may have some light diming issues I had a 2001 grandprix with two soundstream 600rms amps and I got the dims till I upgraded battery and did the big 3. wccfan12 Posted October 22, 2013 Report Share Posted October 22, 2013 Be aware that if you just do the big three it might make your light dimming worse, thats what happened to me in my car but then I got two agm batts for under the hood and had .3 voltage drop on a Hifonics Brutus 1700.1 @ 1ohm. And we all know how inefficient the Brutus amps are, so I say once you upgrade your battery and do the big three you'll be good, but to me one without the other kinda defeats the purpose. We can't give you a definite answer only to find you frustrated and disappointed. Just be smart about it and don't hammer on it while at idle. BTW nice car. I loved my parent's gtp when they had it. My step dad put the wrong coolant in and killed it though (reading the fucking manual helps).
