Once when I was hunting with a cheap rat tail tang Kabar copy I stabbed the boar and It kept going with the blade while the handle stayed in my hand lol I would rather not have my knife go dull after a few cuts. Sharpening it can get tedious after awhile. I know one knife I have by leatherman gets dull quick. My view of dull is not being able to shave hair off your arm.
