ChevyBoy95
Really want to get it on PC, it feels more "real" than on consoles even though im a console gamer at heart. I have a Dell Inspiron 580.... (some of you are probably giggling already) Has a i5 @ 3.2GHz 6GB of ram, 5.87GB usable older Radeon HD6790 [blue one with the sword on it] that at the time was awesome, and Maxim helped my upgrade it and a decent sized PSU which i think is around 550w or so. (also Maxim helped with this). The one main thing i seem to fall short on is the video card, which BF4 recommends 2+ GB of GeForce or Radeon cards. I looked into crossfiring my current card, but they dont make it anymore. So know im looking into a new card i would think. Any help? suggestions? and if possible, could i upgrade the ram to say 8gb or 16gb? dont know a whole lot about PC upgrades. here is the thread when i did it. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/135841-graphics-update-on-inspiron-580/ Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/

boostin302
need to know what motherboard you have to see how much ram it can hold. a GPU and ram upgrade would be your biggest gain overall but i dont know what i5 you have so you may end up just bottlenecking a mid to high end GPU. run a dxdiag.. start, search box. type in dxdiag ( click yes for any boxes that pop up, usually only to valdaite your drivers with dxdiag) click save info and paste it here. should only need the system info and display(1) My build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/143943-2001-mustang-gt-system-rebuild-box-build-pics-updated-61512/ 2001 Ford Mustang GT 4.6 SOHC 380HP 270 amp Mechman alt 2 12" Treo SSX custom built. 6.47 cu ft, tuned to 32Hz 2 hifonics Brutus 2400.1, strapped 1 optima yellow top 1 Kinetic HC1800 14.4v @ 29Hz, 2k RPM over 100ft 1/0 XS flex wire Big 3 in 1/0 100sq ft fatmat deadener 145.3 on music, 142.6 sealed on music Stop being a pussy and wall it off. boostin302
recommand downloading cpuid-z.. its a info showing program that alot of overclockers use to monitor their hardware. it'll show what motherboard you have and the model number.. I'm assuming its going to be a factory dell MOBO which is going to really limit what you can upgrade too. 99AUXR
ASUS 7870 and running on Ultra, a little laggy but expect more game optimization to fix this, I have 8gb ram and it seems to be using ~60%. Also BF4 likes to use CPU especially on the lower settings. So your CPU may be a bottleneck. . . . Oh and first post BF XR6T with Focal Audio
