right now i do not have a mids and highs amp but im looking into getting one. my question is, right now i have 4 kicker 6 and 1/2 coaxial speakers. 1 in each door, it says they have 100 watt rms for the power, but i plan on upgrading to a couple component sets like rockford or whatever else. what kinda power rating and i lookin for? like a ct125.4 or would i need something less powerful? just looking to have something for the speakers i have now and still have it power the components ill get in the spring so i dont have to upgrade the amp as well. thx in advance for the advice guys

Get a decent 4 channel. Most, prefer "head room" dealing with mid freqs.

Power needs will also be side by side with the comp set you choose. Or, if you do pro audio. Will you want to go active? Or passive?

It will all dictate what you need. Power and adjustment wise.

Pioneer gm-d 7500 and the gm-d 9500 are both 4 channel digital amps, very efficient and great sound quality. And you can usually find on sale for around $125. You wont be disappointed.

sweet thx guys, so ill just look for the rms rating of the components i want to get and my speakers i have now should be generaly fine with it i suppose haha. so just to be clear, if i were looking at the t-165-s i would want an amp that puts out about 75 watts per channel? if i were to have one speaker and one tweeter per door?
