hdorre
Mike Singer makes them for first gen V6 Tributes.. idk about the 2gs though. He would honestly be my choice. Im MORE than happy with my Singer, and I know for a fact that KyLar96 is too. 03 Xtreme Fosgate
Nate from Excessive Amperage just quoted $600 shipped to Canada but I don't know what amperage alt yet. I told him your setup but he's busy so he'll get back with me in a little bit. TrevorMunro
There seems to alot for the older Tributes and the 4 cylinder. But not the 3.0L V6. Anyways stock one is back in. And all is good.
Ozim
I would check on the alt belt. It can slip since grooves cannot grip a such big alt for 4cyl. Tighten up belt, maybe? And all is good. so we narrowed it down to alt, correct? Was there slippage with the aftermarket? If not, then yea, see if you can send it to someone like SInger and see if they can redo it and make it a nice one. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. TrevorMunro
It was the alt 100%. My mechanic pulled it out and gave me 100% of my money back. He said that the alt was a hunk of crap. The guy who made it can recommend, my mech said he will never use the guy again. So much louder and cleaner now, with the factory unit back in. Guess a week of crap sound makes you realize what you have.
