nocturnalrites101 Posted November 3, 2013 Report Posted November 3, 2013 Not to sound dumb couldnt you use a mono amp for midbass's in a full active setup?http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/t500-1bdcpsay something like this amp, couldnt you use that as a midbass amp but your amp would be limited to a max frequency of 250hz? or am i missing a part of equation ?

I'm planning to run a pair of amplifiers mono on my mid bass ... one amp for each mid bass driver (one in each door) ... Im saying if i need more power, and my cut off point is below 250 hz , would it work.it was just a theoretical question , ive found a back up amplifer that is stereo anyway

My mid bass drivers play 500 htz down to 40 htz (time aligned) ... All I'm suggesting is to run a class A/B full range stereo amplifier on your midbass drivers ...
