Austin42156
Hey guys I was just wondering what is the best way to add a center channel to my car? My type of car does not have center channel from the factory. What can I buy and where can I mount the speaker in my car to give me a true center channel. Btw I already looked up stuff on google, none of the sites gave me a clear answer. - 1995 Pontiac Trans Am - 5.7 LT1 V8 - Kenwood Excelon x998 Deck - JL Audio XR650-CSI 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers (In My Doors) - Crescendo Audio PWX 6.5" Mid Ranges (Right behind my seats) - (1) Kenwood KAC-9105d Monoblock Amplifier - (1) Kenwood X450/4, 4 Channel Amplifier - (2) Kenwood W3013ps 12" Subwoofers - Amps tuned with O-scope. - Stinger Roadkill Sound Deadening - F.A.S.T Rings by Mobile Solutions - Phoenix Gold and Stinger wiring
will77530
you dont need to add a center channel, if you are going for sq add nice components and a processor, that alone will give you the sound stage you are looking for

Austin42156
I listen to a mixture of rock, rap, screamo, techno, and everything in between. I guess the two main ones would be rock and hardcore (screamo) music. - 1995 Pontiac Trans Am - 5.7 LT1 V8 - Kenwood Excelon x998 Deck - JL Audio XR650-CSI 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers (In My Doors) - Crescendo Audio PWX 6.5" Mid Ranges (Right behind my seats) - (1) Kenwood KAC-9105d Monoblock Amplifier - (1) Kenwood X450/4, 4 Channel Amplifier - (2) Kenwood W3013ps 12" Subwoofers - Amps tuned with O-scope. - Stinger Roadkill Sound Deadening - F.A.S.T Rings by Mobile Solutions - Phoenix Gold and Stinger wiring
Soccerballzs
You would be better using CDT Pillar mount tweeters facing windshield and let the highs reflect off it. For 5.1 in car audio you would have to buy DVD 'S IN 5.1 And the last one I bought for home system sounded terrible. Not feasible in car audio. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/garage/vehicle/2438-jeep-commander/I Pioneer P99RSAmpere 38002-Ampere 125/44-6.5 inch Hertz HSK XL Mids4-8 inch JL Audio ZR Midwoofer 2-5.25 Satori Mids2-Morel Tweeters, 2 Hertz Milles 3 inch on A pillars2-Hertz Silk tweeters DC Audio Level 5/12 Skyhigh Wire Mechman 320 XS Power D3100MO Funniest Thread of the Year 2013: http://www.stevemead...dy-being-a-pos/

Austin42156
Yes. Even though what you say is true, I still feel a center channel would benefit me. - 1995 Pontiac Trans Am - 5.7 LT1 V8 - Kenwood Excelon x998 Deck - JL Audio XR650-CSI 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers (In My Doors) - Crescendo Audio PWX 6.5" Mid Ranges (Right behind my seats) - (1) Kenwood KAC-9105d Monoblock Amplifier - (1) Kenwood X450/4, 4 Channel Amplifier - (2) Kenwood W3013ps 12" Subwoofers - Amps tuned with O-scope. - Stinger Roadkill Sound Deadening - F.A.S.T Rings by Mobile Solutions - Phoenix Gold and Stinger wiring
