Aj11 Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 i just stopped and checked out that grand prix, that ski Hole Is huge! should make a nice window! i love how the trunk hinges are! most have the arms that do down into the trunk and take away from available air space. I really Hope i get this car! you should! the only down side is the battery under the hood is small and is a bitch to get in and out. gotta take out the support bar to remove it. and turn it funny angles. Do you know if a kinetik hc1800 will filt in there or is the kinetik hc1400 the biggest that will go in a grand prix

I'm not afraid to take a hack saw to the car! ; ) just as long as i know the air space is there I'll make it work! HEY YOU GUYS WITH THE PONTIACS HOW IS YOU'RE CHARGING SYSTEM? i wanna know if its a pcm controlled alt or not. meaning do you constantly stay at 14.6 volts or do you start at 14.6 and slowly drop to 13.8 volts and stay there? please answer this for me!
elgordito81 Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 I have an 01 grand prix se with the 3.1. In the morning um at 15.1v the it would drop to 14.7v then to 13.9v. I think the ecm controls the voltage.
