79 cutty
They are the shit! But for the price I have always just used a level or one of these: http://www.rockler.com/all-in-one-clamp-guide-package-while-supplies-last My old man has the festool and I have used it a couple times. I keep telling him to sleep with one eye open or I will steal it one night! Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it. baron_of_bass
Yeah I would have to buy a circular saw because the one I have a cheap as hell. I have a decent table saw that I can use but I've always wanted something like this. Team Bass-Hz
Soccerballzs
Everything Festool sells is way overpriced. Buy a quality hand saw!!! With a nice carbide blade!!! I have 5 Hp Delta table saw with Besmeyer fence and a SCMI Panel Saw. I would not give the panel saw up for anything. Saves your back and you can cut a box out in minutes. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/garage/vehicle/2438-jeep-commander/I Pioneer P99RSAmpere 38002-Ampere 125/44-6.5 inch Hertz HSK XL Mids4-8 inch JL Audio ZR Midwoofer 2-5.25 Satori Mids2-Morel Tweeters, 2 Hertz Milles 3 inch on A pillars2-Hertz Silk tweeters DC Audio Level 5/12 Skyhigh Wire Mechman 320 XS Power D3100MO Funniest Thread of the Year 2013: http://www.stevemead...dy-being-a-pos/
Triticum Agricolam
I would really love to have a track saw, but Festool prices their stuff like its made out of platinum. If you are going to use this saw as part of how you put food on your table then I can see where the Festool price might be worth it. Otherwise both Makita and Dewalt make track saws too that are much more reasonably priced. If you really want to get one for cheap Grizzly makes one for like $200, but I imagine its performance is relative to its cost. Pasta Prime
Track saws are so expensive especially Festool. There are other options out there like Dewalt, makita and Shop Fox. Me and a buddy actually made one That works awesome for our circular saw. Actually I just looked and Grizzly sells one with a 55" track and their clamping kit for only $245 for that price, hmmmmm. http://www.grizzly.com/products/Track-Saw-Master-Pack/T25552 I guess I mirrored your post Triticum Agricolam. Should have read first. lol New build coming........
