SICKSPD
Forgot to mention… I'm also using the PAC harness to implement the factory amplified system as well as retain steering wheel controls (model: RP4-CH11). Definitely worth the money. Some early build pics: The project really started when my factory battery decided to kick the bucket and instead of replacing it with another $160 battery I opted to upgrade to something with a little more power… the XS power… unfortunately it still hasn't gotten to me in the mail yet so I'm with no battery. I had some difficulty getting that factory battery out of the trunk after lead sulfate somehow managed to build up like cement on the release button of the battery strap. Still puzzled how that got there but after a baking soda+water soaking i was able to get it out and start on the tear down. Here you can see the tear down of the trunk, bare and (relatively) unmolested… (the hanging red wire is part of the sequential taillight harness that has to be remounted) 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. SICKSPD
Looks good, and nice car. I feel you on those Louisiana roads they use to piss me off Yeah its absolutely horrible. It's frightening flying over a bump or dip in the road and then feeling/hearing the loud bang from the tires bottoming out in the wheel well and scraping of metal sound of the subframe hitting concrete. Quickly had to learn to be much more conscience of the road conditions and leery of your speed going over bumps and holes to stop that from happening anymore. 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft.
