Fix it before it gets worse, mine was horible with 2 18s, and then 8 10s And the window seal broke.. Pioneerchuck Posted November 15, 2013 Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 I got lucky with my truck and had some bolts that were just randomly welded to the back wall almost halfway up the back wall, 2 on each side of the truck. So all I did was weld 2 similar bolts to the floor that way I could fab up a diagonal metal brace with plates on each end, then drill holes to fit the bolts through. Then I just used a rubber grommet in between the plates and the floor to ease what was left of the vibration in between the two areas. Then I simply used a flat washer, lock washer, then a lock nut and torqued the ones on the floor to 60 ft lbs and the ones on the back wall to 50. I never saw anymore flex in the back wall.
