mmets Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 How is your electrical? I ask because someone else I think will to help you out more. Also it will help to give a estimate of what your budget will be for the subs/box. I could give you recommendations on what I have had before and ran but budget is a big one. Just my thought though. And I was beat to the punch on budget http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)

Mark-E-Mark Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 With that amp I would get 2 nice 15's that can hold up good power. Im kinda in the same boat. I wanted my trunk "ported" also so I built the ports for the trunk straight through the box. Plenty of options though if you have a pretty nice budget. You can fit a lot in there, 12's, 15's whatever your preference is. Upgrade electric, that amp will slam. Mark-E-Mark Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 Make sure you know what final impedance you want to run before you decide on what subs and there ohm loads. greg4510 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Report Posted November 14, 2013 right now i only have a 220 amp alt i plan on doin 1 kinetic 2000 for starting and running 3 runs of 1/0 and 4 kinetic 2000s in the trunk. my budget is about 800 to 1k for subs. and i kinda wanna do a ported box and make a face to port through deck or if i run 12s maybe do a bandpass maybe 4 or 6 12s in a 4th or even 6th order
agf144 Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 you could do 2 fi sp4 15s in a double baffle and braced box with those dementions above and have just under 4 cubes per sub or 4 fi bl 12s with the same box sealed off from the trunk Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. oh.. wait.. naw.. that wasnt weird.. BoomZoom808 Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 With that budget you have lots of choices out there. I would think 2 15" Sundown X15's would be a good match for that amp or a single 18 2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Knu OFC 1/0 SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750 Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5 IA 10.1 / SSA XCON 12
