JNells
Carbon fiber ftw Best $10 I've ever spent on eBay lol. (No lie, I wasn't expecting much for that price, but it looks/feels really good and was relatively easy to apply) I'll learn real carbon fiber someday, but until then these will do just fine Malibu Build Log
bcbrassard
YA the maintainance is important. I posted pics of subs wired up on my build last weekend. I finally got box all ready and plan on starting tear down this weekend to reinstall over the long weekend. Check out pics sometime.

thefourth
Nice work on the dash, man. Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do thatI can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream. oh lawd. JNells
Sprayed some filler primer just to see where I'm at... Still a few spots to tweak, and pinholes to get out. But at least the fracture is gone Malibu Build Log
