goodvibez
First off, congratulations on the newborn!! Secondly loving the cf vinyl..bought a roll exactly the same and just covered my 5.0k in it...really made it look better..stuff is tricky to wrap though.. Looks great!! Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! My build log: 10k center console with 4 DC Audio XL 10's powered by 2 DC Audio 5.0k amps 5 xs batteries and dual DC Power 300xps alts http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169404-goodvibez-04-dmax-10k-center-console-w4-xl-10s-custom-5ksit-plays/page-

Thank you and thank you!! I really like the cf vinyl I got too, but yea it's a PITA to wrap around anything or in tight spots. The HVAC controls was the hardest shit I've done lol. It's far from perfect but after 4 tries i gave it one last try and it looked halfway decent so I left it. Malibu Build Log
JNells
I also cleaned up my HU wire harness along with the switch harnesses and added a relay to the switches. I'm running a 12g wire to my engine fuse block for power, instead of splicing into the HU power line. It might look like a tangled mess of wires but I've planned it out so that it works in the vehicle and can still be removed and worked on if necessary (highly doubtful, but i try to prepare for worst case scenario) I know butt connectors or soldering would be better no solder gun and I don't fully trust butt connectors (even with a crimper) Malibu Build Log
