n8ball2013
Thats not what hes asking. Hes asking resting voltage. Voltage is measured in volts. A 12 volt battery should float no lower than 12.6 volts and ideal is 12.8. WhatsAminiTruck
I said I didn't remember the exact voltage, but if it was lower than that it wouldn't pass that as in whatever it should be at Edited November 26, 2013 by WhatsAminiTruck Quote Current: Two SA-6.5s and two tweets in each door powered by an LA-4200, 240amp Mechman Alt, Two Memphis PR12s powered by an SAZ-1500.Waiting on my box to hook up my two SA-12s <

WhatsAminiTruck
Have you checked the battery resting voltage? What kind of battery are you using? Thats not what hes asking. Hes asking resting voltage. Voltage is measured in volts. A 12 volt battery should float no lower than 12.6 volts and ideal is 12.8. 12.95 volts Edited November 27, 2013 by WhatsAminiTruck Quote Current: Two SA-6.5s and two tweets in each door powered by an LA-4200, 240amp Mechman Alt, Two Memphis PR12s powered by an SAZ-1500.Waiting on my box to hook up my two SA-12s <
n8ball2013
Thats weird that your stock cheap duralast battery will rest that high. To be honest its hard to swallow that number. How tight is your belt? It can be too tight as well. I hate dodges. This is part of the reason why. I dont think a 96 would be pcm controlled or anything like that though Quote THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. hdorre
The reason that the Duralast can be "resting" that high is because the OP probably drove to like Autozone/Advance/O'Reilly's/NAPA/etc with the battery installed, went inside to get his battery tested, and they probably tested it right there on the spot.
