pstone11
Put in quite a few hours this week, everthing is pretty slow going when the silicone has a 24 hour cure. The back is MDF, there is going to be 3D rock on it, so I didn't want to spend the $$ on glass that wouldn't be seen anyway. The top was kind of a pain to get it strong, and precision notches are not easy with a miter saw... Turned out very good though. pstone11
Made a inner ring of aluminum angle to keep the top strong, and give a place for the expanded metal to attach to Here's how it sits now.. Waiting for the silicone to dry in the lid... Quote Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page! pstone11
Damm talk about over kill on the screen man but damm nice job so far Yeah, I had it lying around, figured I'd just cut a chunk of it off to use.. It really only has to withstand the heat of two lamps, but overkill isn't bad.. That's awesome! No three legged lizard ever had it so good.. Yeah, Discount Eddie will be pretty stoked with it Nice build. Thanks, I need to start on the base for it this weekend..
