Put in quite a few hours this week, everthing is pretty slow going when the silicone has a 24 hour cure.

The back is MDF, there is going to be 3D rock on it, so I didn't want to spend the $$ on glass that wouldn't be seen anyway.

The top was kind of a pain to get it strong, and precision notches are not easy with a miter saw... Turned out very good though.

Yeah, I had it lying around, figured I'd just cut a chunk of it off to use.. It really only has to withstand the heat of two lamps, but overkill isn't bad..
