After you wire your components and you want to hook those up to a 4 channel amp, would you wire from you door speaker to the amp or do you take the green and purple from the back of the headunit and run your speaker wire back to the amp? I am thinkin that it is just from the door speakers I would like to know!

I take it that you have a stock headunit without RCA outputs ...

If you have a pair of components then you would hook them up to a 2 channel amp, if you have 2 pair of comps then you would use a 4 channel amplifier.

Most components have a crossover that you wire each speaker to, and from there you wire it to your amplifier or headunit.
