Ray
Thats all magic tl time in each car. There are alot of people that just add a 3db bump at 40hz. Sorry i cant really get into detail about my findings per vehicle. That is something i just cant give away. Good eye understanding that vehicle specifics can change the overall sound of the substage. 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
Ray
To answer the question on how to find what your specific vehicle does. Well. Build it, the take roughly every freq test with the TL. See whats happening per freq. Then take them again in 6 diff spots in the vehicle. See what peaks where. Cabin airleaks in diff areas will show themselves. Hope ive shed some light 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
Hotdog
I see.. now I know there is a ton of testing to do with a TL. So doing like 20-80hz test in 1hz increments in six different spots should be acceptable then for finding acoustical properties of the sub stage? Hotdog
Is there any particular volume you should test at to get the results? Hotdog
Thank you Ray one last question Recently I have noticed that I am getting a bad ground noise through the system. At the same time I notice that my lights are pulsating to the engine whine. I tried reading up on it and I grounded everything to the frame (rca's, amps, radio, batteries, Alternator). Everything that I have read makes me think it is the alternator specifically the voltage regulator but my voltage is good. I do have a MLA module in my vehicle so my vehicle idles at like 15.3+ when cold and 14.8-15.0 when warmed up. Any thoughts on where I should look?
