I am not using regular crossovers, I am running just the kicker KX3. Could this still be the problem?

I'm no expert but i ve had very similar probelms to you cj, try moving the rcas away from the amp, or just move each rca until you find the one introducing the noise.... that's what happened to me when my rca was laying over a ground for my 4 channels

Just an idea....

Quick question on my head unit on the bottom there is a AUX input its 2.5 mm jack I got a converter from 2.5 to 3.5 hooked it up and tried to play a song with it. You can hear the background music but cant hear any of the words and all. Think this is because the converter part was really cheap?

Head unit model is deh-6800mp

Uhhhh.

All pioneer aux jacks are 3.5mm

Sounds like your using the w/r input.

no its a 2.5 aux jack heres the copy and paste from the description

Front Panel Auxiliary Input:

This unit has a 2.5mm sub-mini jack auxiliary input located on the bottom edge of the motorized front panel. This AUX 1 input must be turned on in the Initial Settings menu before it can be selected as a source. Once AUX 1 is selected as a source, you can change the source display of the input to any 8 character name. A second auxiliary device can be connected to this unit when an optional adapter is connected to the IP-Bus connector on the rear panel. This auxiliary input (known as AUX 2) must also be turned on, and an 8-character name for the input can be stored in memory. See below for more information on the 2nd Auxiliary Input.

this is the adapter i bought think maybe because its not the higher end?
