Robby Holmes
so i have a '97 buick riviera running on stock electrical/alternator but will be getting my big 3 upgrade within the next week. also ill be buying a 15" DC XL M2 and want to put it on ~2,500w rms stock alt is 140amp and im wondering if just the big 3 will be enough to give the XL good clean power? or would i need to get a second battery? if so, would one XS D1200 suffice? Ray
I say you need a 270amp alternator. A battery only extends the play time. An alt will let you sustain the power/voltage as long as you like. 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz

CaPRiCEx383
Ray, I'm trying to get my front stage setup proper. It consist of 2 8" as Midbass 2 6.5" midrange 2 3" Midrange and 4 focal tweets running all active. I want to FG a 3" mid and tweet on the A pillar. Which way should they face? A little towards the winshield, Towards the opposing seat or straight at eachother? Also Should i put the remaining tweets up high on the door or down low with the mids? I'm just looking for the best overall sound. CaPRiCEx383
Would there be any problem if my pillars covered this? I was thinking of leaving some space for it to blow out from under the pod, Kind of directing it forward after it hits the pod. 90 Nissan 240sx Avic z-140bh Audison SR4 Audison Voce 6.5s CDT es-20 tweeters Sundown 1500v3 (2) DD 9510's 3 cube box 2 6" aeros XS Power D2400 & Xp950 Skyhigh/Knukonceptz/Rockford Fosgate wiring More Coming Soon..
