Krakin
My ASUS Xonar D1 is 7.1 analog, and has line-in/digital out. Same price range and I love mine so far, but has a learning curve, not too big but a curve non the less. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . biscuitownz
The asus xonar series are actually better than the creative z. Also you don't have to use 7.1, just means you can go up to 7.

Also you don't have to use 7.1, just means you can go up to 7.1 I did not know that at all. Thanks for the input. What makes it better? Hard to figure out which is better, don't really have specs On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. Krakin
My reasoning was that the core on the D1 was the same as ASUS's higher end models. Also had to order my build in an hour... Didn't have too long to compare everything. There is a HUGE difference over the on board audio though lol. kdh
Is this for games or producing? I've had the same maudio delta card for years and its done fine. They make optical out and optical in as well. Is optical the deal killer? Lotta cards support digital in and out via a wired cable.
