No it is bone stock when it comes to performance. I want to do some performance mods to it but I don't know that much about it. I see you have done some to yours.

If you wanna pm me about what they do and stuff that would be great. i wanna learn more about stuff like that.

I know i can fit a box for 2 15's. i have done some measuring and it's possible. just gotta get creative with where to put everything else. I don't even have the hatch

stripped out yet. I will probably glass over the wheel wells as well. I also have a couple ideas that will gain me more space if they work right.

You have the 2.3 duratec right pioneer?

Don't remember the year of your focus.

The duratec responds better to bolt ons like exhaust, intake, header, etc.. Better gain then the zetec. The simple bolt ons give it a little more pep and response.

To be honest I'm not sure the engine size on mine. Its an 07 though

07 has the curate I believe its a 2.3.

My zx3 (2000 with zetec motor 2.0) has a full exhaust including the manifold, aem cold air intake, light weight pullies ( changing crank pulley back to stock for harmonic balancer, bigger throttle body, mustang gt calipers with 300mm rotors upfront, lowered on springs 2", carbon fiber hood and upgraded rear sway bar. Came with everything but the throttle body. I plan to add agx adjustable shocks/struts, new bushings all around, upgraded front sway bar, carbon fiber hatch door and a full engine rebuild. Forged rods/pistons better bearing slight overbore. Some machine work including better air Flow and some stage 1 or 2 cams.

Really for the price of all that engine work you should just buy something that's fast to begin with.

I can do it all but the machine work which my dad knows the machine shop owner and I can get some great pricing. Less then 5-6grand out of pocket to finish it off. I could get a mustang or something but then I would be following the norm. I prefer to step outside the box and do what no one else in My area does.

Yeah but 5-6 grand for how much hp? Then you have to build the Trans and everything else that go's along with it.

Tranny just needs the clutch and it will be good. Its just something I want to do just because I can and not many people here would bother.

Better then the guy I met today, Honda civic with $40000 into the engine to attempt a 8sec 1/4mile. He didn't even mention the transmission to handle the 1300hp he is talking about wanting to get out of it.

We are all talking about tuneing a ford focus... I personally want to turbo the ford focus... possibly mess with compression... I want to get some good numbers... My Goal is to have My Focus get 300 hp... If I can achive that, who knows... I eventually will provide it with some juice... If I do what I plan on doing with this car... Its going to become a rally car

Ya i don't really know much about a lot of this. I would like upgraded exhaust and just make the car a bit quicker overall. that would make me happy. not trying to

make it super fast or anything but you know just quicker than stock.
