So the focus is in the shop. its going to be about a month or so. I got a couple things in store though for when I get it back. its going to be louder than ever. Luckily the wall is not in the way of anything they have to do so at least I wont have to rebuild that.

on a side note, insurance may pay for part of the equipment I lost. not all of it, but something is better than nothing. so anyways, once I get it back I will start updating things. im really goanna take my time re-installing everything and make it look super clean. if the car made it through this it deserves to look super nice.

So i though i would throw up some pics of the wall build i had laying around. made the whole shell out of 2x4's and a shit ton of glass.

The small chunks of 2x4 were removed, they were just there as a temporary brace to hold the pieces together until it was glassed

Thats all i got for now. all gaps and such you see were all filled. overall the shell is super sturdy. i used about 5 gallons of resin and tons of

fiberglass mat. wasn't the best way of doing it, but it worked. would not have gotten done the way it did without the help of Dangaranga.

he really helped a lot with the build. anyways, more pics soon.

Ok so here it is. I have finally started my new build, and decided to start a log. this is my second rebuild so first I will get everyone caught up on my past systems. this build may be a bit slow because I am only 17 and don't have a lot of time or money. I also want to get it done the right way the first time. I am also going to include some pics of my friend's system. (Edit: My friends build pics end on page 7. I decided to stop cluttering up my log with his build to. I will be starting a separate log on his though soon.) so here we go...

basic 6.5's and tweeters, and a small Kinetik battery. Everything in this system was Soundstream.

For what it was it got fairly loud and low. I also bass raced with this system this summer at Draggin Detroit but busted out. Oh well

There is about 7 cubes gross. Maybe a bit more. After subs and port I have about 3 cubes per sub. Running DD subs and all I knew going into it this would be

Hit or miss. Never tried DD in a small box. But apparently it works pretty well. Flat response from 23-60 is damn good. I have about 130 square inches of port

Where is your port going to be? I didn't see anything or have you not got that far? Btw if you have full coverage on your vehicle your insurance should pay for everything. Fight it, they will pay for it if that's the case. Read your policy to confirm.

Its a top port. It is partially internal and partially external. I have pics of it a couple pages back. I had it playing on my xxx

Until the accident. The xxx got fucked up pretty bad. It still puts out power and stuff but the amp itself hisses and squeals pretty

Badly. But its ok. I'm getting the first x3.71 very soon here. Those amps are insane haha. But yeah insurance ended up paying

For all the amps and stuff that was damaged. Turns out my insurance adjuster was a basshead haha. So that was cool. So yeah

So I got the car back. The shop fixed everything damaged in the accident really well, but managed to fuck up a bunch of other shit in the process. They ran the seat bolts straight through my RCA's and speaker wires, didn't put any screws back into the passenger side tail light, cracked the front bumper a little bit and completely destroyed the fog light assembly, didn't put my speaker back in the rear passenger door just threw it inside my wall, scratched the back hatch a bit, and to top it off the rear passenger door doesn't lock anymore. A lot of those things I already fixed like the scratches, screws in taillight, and I ran new RCA's and speaker wire. But I'm goanna take it back on Monday to see if they will fix the fog light and rear door.

On the up side. The car drives like a dream haha. Way better than before. Idk what they did but it doesn't rattle anymore, and it drives so much smoother. So that made me happy. I already got to work on it and got a lot done. I will post some pics tomorrow. Anyways, I'm just glad to have it back.
