If I had to guess... The reason for no vs. Threads is to avoid flame wars and shouting matches. And people chiming in who have no experience on the subject at hand / are simply regurgitating what they have read.

No one can tell you what is better for you when you haven't shared your preferences.

Should I eat chocolate ice cream or vanilla? And what about strawberry? Should I consider that too?

How could you answer that question without knowing what flavors tasted best to me? How could you answer without knowing whether I'm allergic to chocolate or not?

If you're in need of advice, share as much information about your preferences, your budget, your vehicle, your musical tastes... your goals, as possible. That way, you can get the most informed answers possible. And if you do share that information, you might find that neither of your vs. options are the best fit for you. ;-)
