dwright27 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 a buddy of mine has a JEEP Wrangler hardtop and he wants to put some woofers behind his second row seat. the problem with this is, thjeres not much room. HOWEVER! ive come up with a design that was pretty effecient for my first set-up off of 400 watts as got damn loud for one ten. but what im wondering is if i do a down firing box, with the port firing upwards if i would have cancellation. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. When you have port up near the back it is almost as loud, but not quite. trainman0978 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 I had a 99 model TJ with a soft top though, but I ran a kicker 10" behind the seat in a sealed box - and I think I had a 300 watt kicker amp on it, and it sounded really good considering it had to overcome tire noise from a set of 33" BFG mud terrains, and soft top noise, or no top and doors at all.
