Idk if I would've went thru all the trouble but it came out damn good, ALOT cleaner than if you just left it. Not too mention you probably shaved a few pounds of weight on the doors. Looking at your door with both sets of xxxs, you could make some kick ass pods for those. Cut that plastic out and just follow the same contour and line of where they are mounted now. That would look sick! Btw the xxx on the speakers look like strands of DNA when up n down like that. Haha never noticed that before. Keep the work and pics coming buddy! Love this "small build".. oldsoundguy Posted April 28, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2014 Had to get up early and take a CPR first aid class today for work. When I got home I started working on the pass door. It went a bit easier as I learned how to do it so it took less time. Got everything in, wired up and DD-1. Its not a ton louder but before the sub was real loud compared to the front stage and now the front stage is keeping up or even maybe out doing the sub stage now? Tomorrow when I get home I may try setting the gain on the sub amp with the -10 DB track to see if I can get a little back. I get my SMD V-1 on Tuesday so I am interested to see what my voltage is full tilt now. I put it back in and I was like WTF happened to all my bass. Kinda sucks but I can say now that the Soundqubed amp is not louder than the CT Sounds 3000.
