mbdblue Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 It's not just about the amplifier putting out the power to determine if it's a POS....you can be putting put 1500 watts but if it's not clean, your subs are gonna fry and from what it sounds like, the amp will have no problem overheating....Not to mention, you have how many batteries on a stock alternator right now. My guess is that alternator is crying trying to keep all 3 charging; which could explain why your voltage is dropping. But if your initial problem was voltage, why in the video does it seem to be holding fine? edit: more to the point, efficiency is also a factor...the amp could pull a lot more power than it makes.
