Will those 15"s even fit side by side on a 30" wide baffle? I think the baffle would need to be around 36" for the subs to fit side by side.

IMO, that trunks would be better with 2 12s or a single 15.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

The full diameter from edge to edge is something like 15.6" that and up to needing at lest 31.2" from side to side in order for them to fit.

According to your measurement you have 30.7 unless you do sub back.

That trunk really looks like a great front firing sealed opportunity though.

Oh and if the box id facing back you won't have much room for the sound waves to get passed the box and into the cabin.

OP according to some rough calculations your box won't fit in it's way in despite the size of the trunk opening.

The smallest box I could come up with is: 19 3/4"x 30 3/8" x 31 1/2" (HxWxD) which specs: 6 cubes [email protected], 108 square inches of port area, looking like your drawing only with a dual layer baffle.

To be sure you need to build a cardboard dummy box and test fit, if it doesn't, go for 13.5s or 12s OR build inside.

You are not the first one that thought it fit and didn't or the trunk lid couldn't be closed.
