i hope this isnt against a rule. but im looking to do a rebuild this spring. id like to go down to a 15 or a 12 instead of my 18 to try and get some of my back seat back. i plan on getting a CT 1400 to replace my hifonics 1700. i have 1500-1800w to play with lets say. i currently have a Fi BL 18 D2 fully loaded. im hoping to trade it off but what should i look at? id like a more SQ oriented but can get loud if i want it to driver. im looking to get sub, the amp, box, and wiring done for $300 if at all possible. so throw some ideas at me for subs to look at for a more musical build. i listen to a ton of rock and metal and some rap. that changed from when i got the system so what im wanting it to do has changed

thanks guys

Cody C.

Reducing net volume and lowering tuning can make it sound much better, say 4.7 cubes @ 30Hz. Also using the subsonic filter can help.

but with my current dims will i be able to get that volume? id like to get 1/3 of my 4ft back seat back. im running my ssf at approx 25-28 lpf at 80 cuz thats lowest my HU does unless i did through but idk what that does. and i like the X series but id like to keep just one sub at 1700w if possible. i suppose i could do two but id have to get one helluva deal on it.
